Stargate SG-1:

1. "The SCI FI Channel renewed its original series Stargate SG-1 for a full seventh season, the network announced. SCI FI ordered 22 new episodes from MGM. Richard Dean Anderson will stay in his role as both the series' star and executive producer." Press Release
   
   Note: It's very nice to see that Richard decided to stay on for abit longer. This might be his last season though as he has stated in numerous interviews that he would like to be at home with his daughter. I can't blame him one bit for that.



2. "The SCI FI Channel confirmed that Michael Shanks will return as a regular cast member of the channel's original series Stargate SG-1, again playing the role of Dr. Daniel Jackson, in the show's upcoming seventh season." Press Release
   
   Note: The power of the gate is too strong! Besides Daniel is who solved the entire mystery of how the gate worked. Remember this, "So you think you've solved in fourteen days what they couldn't solve in two years?"

The Lost World:
Still listed as "delayed, not canceled." The current plan is for them to begin filming in January 2003.

Movies:
Lord of the Rings (Collectors Edition) will be realesed on DVD/VHS the 12th and Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets will be in theatres on the 15th.
