It would seem INS has added a new feature to their web site and you can now check the status of your case online. I figured what the hay I'll try and see. The written noticed we had received said 175 to 225 days. I was hoping for some idea of where things stood. What I found was a paragraph telling me it was taking 500 to 600 days for this type of case to process. Yes, you read that right. Now lets all recall that US Immigration denied my husband entry in September until his visa clears. I will be calling the "service" center Monday morning. I might very well end up in jail.
