There is a traveling mini zoo in town this week. Admission is free to all, but you have to pay to feed the animals or have your photo taken. Years ago when I was about 9 they had something similar here in town. Mom or dad took me and I had my picture taken with a lion cub. I still have it somewhere.

Well yesterday I stopped on my way home from work to see all the animals. I caved and had my photo taken with Zeus a six week old male African lion cub. The handler took him from his meal just before the picture was taken so he was not the happiest little guy.

Today I went back with my dad and Tiffany. I bought some food so she could feed the camel, llama, and goats. The camel was by far the most friendly and the gentlest, she was abit of a food hog though. Tiffany just laughed and stared at all the animals in awe. It was very cute. Eventually we made our way to the lion cubs and she wanted a picture made. She was abit scared. She and I both had our pictures taken with Hercules. He and Zeus are fraternal twins. Something that I believe to be rare in the big cat world.
