Greg, my mom and I went to see Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones yesterday and I have one thing to say, YODA!
I don't want to ruin the movie for anyone so my comments will be general ones. The movie was classic Star Wars with it's light saber duels, shoot-outs, and space combat. We saw some twists this time around though so things were not stale.
The chemistry between Anakin and Padme didn't even come close to matching that of Leia and Han. I'm not sure which actor it was but they just didn't have a spark. They didn't really seem to have true feelings for each other. Maybe it was supposed to be that way because there is no Mrs. Vader afterall....
Clones laid out a pretty good junk of groundwork for all the future movies. We were introduce to people that have important roles down the line such as: Boba Fett, Owen Lars, Beru Whitesun, and Senator Bail Organa.
Did I mention Yoda? Go, watch Yoda, smile, and be in awe.
May the Force be with you.
