Three months

Well it's been three months since my last post and a lot has happened, some good and some sad.

The divorce is final, which is good. The best way to describe things is that I'm at peace. I feel more settled and grounded than I have in a very long time. It's hard to explain. What's odd is how many people asked if I was “dating anyone yet” before it was even final. What in the world made people think I'd be dating while still legally married!?!

Eric is home now and his thigh and head are healing up well after the skin graft. He still needs reconstructive surgery for his ear but that won't happen for a few more weeks or even a couple months. I think the doctors want to give him a break from the hospital and surgeries.

Now for the sad news, in late October my brother Jeff was killed instantly in an automobile accident. His wife and children understandably have good days and bad.
