IMO there are 5 targets at #10 that the Lions will take:
1. Shawne Merriman (the best speed rusher with full time DE size without question marks on size or durability),
2. Derrick Johnson (the best overall defensive player in this draft),
3. Antrel Rolle (the 2nd best overall defensive player in this draft), and
4. Carlos Rogers (the best pure CB in this draft),
5. David Pollack (the most productive DE in college in this draft).
6. If one of them is not there, it means a WR or QB probably fell and just became trade bait. (That is, unless Mike Williams falls to them. Tom Kowalski (Mlive) says they may be thinking of him as a future TE. HA!) Unless a trade to the end of the round happens, an OT doesn't become a real possibility because Pat Morris is the kind of OL coach who takes mid - rounders and polishes them into diamonds. I think the RBs may slide in this draft, but Ronnie Brown should still go top 10.
