On the weekend of August 24th through 26th, Phil (AB2JL) hosted the 160 Meter gang from 1.858 MHz at his "Shed" camp site in Redwood, New York. Here is the story with all of the incriminating evidence from that fateful weekend.
On the front deck of "The Shed", Joe (K1WPO), Lee (W1IDZ), and Joe (KE3EG) are enjoying the front porch. Check out the cool stone work and landscaping.
Joe (K1WPO) used his surf casting rod to accurately place Phil's 160 Meter dipole in the highest trees available. There seemed to be some local ritual of hanging rocks with string from the trees, but Phil reassured everybody that it was "failed erections".
This is Phil's dog, "Stink". He sure lived up to his name according to the guys who slept in The Shed. Look into his eyes - this dog is posessed with evil spirits. I know because every time I tried to walk, talk, or do anything, he would jump up and try and bite me! This dog is the son of Cujo. The funny part is Phil kept reassuring me "he didn't mean it".
