Here it is!  The very first part to be drilled
and temporarily connected with clecoes!

This is the Rudder Yoke Weldment
With the front & rear spars clecoed
to the lower rudder spar.

This is another angle of the Yoke weldment
and rudder spars. This picture shows the work
table and how a string is used to insure the
rudder skelaton is straight and square during
the building process

drilled, then clecoed into position.

 

 

Once all of the parts have been drilled,
aligned, deburred, corrosion proofed,
and temporarily clecoed into position,
it is all disassembled, then the riveting
can begin for the final assembly of each
flying surface.
