at age fourteen when I was convicted for destruction of private property. Unable to adapt to a proper social atmosphere I violated the conditions of my probation and was sentenced to an additional period of probation before ever completing the first term. My drinking addiction had elevated to such excessive levels that I could no longer face a day’s length without an excessive over indulgence of whiskey. Having violated the terms of my probation twice, being sentenced three separate times I was facing the inevitability of imprisonment. It was at this time, during my seventeenth year of life that I met my first wife. This relationship would open the door to complete change to my life for a time. During our dating months, prior to marriage, I would come to the acceptance of Christ as my savior. Believing now that life had more to offer than heartache and disappointment, I married and entered into an active service to the church. My life had taken on change and I truly felt free from the bondage of rejection and molestation I grew up in. Unfortunately it was not to remain my way of life for long.
