From US-131 & I-94, trip is 148 miles and takes about 2 hours and 26 minutes. If you take I-94 to SR-14 to I-275 instead of I-69 and I-96 the trip is 10 miles shorter, which translates to six minutes quicker provided there are no backups around Jackson. However, unless you're travelling before noon, the Lansing route shown below will at a minimum be less stressful. Either way, the last 7 miles will be slow going on city streets.

• Take I-94 east to I-69 North just east of Battle Creek.
• Continue north on I-69 35 miles to I-96 East just south of Lansing.
• Continue east on I-96 68 miles to I-696 East (toward Port Huron).
• Continue east on I-696 4.3 miles to Exit 5 (Orchard Lake Rd) north.
• Continue north on Orchard Lake Rd 2.3 miles to 14-Mile Rd and turn right.
• Continue east on 14-Mile 1 mile to Middlebelt and turn left.
• Continue north on Middlebelt 3 miles to Lone Pine and turn right.
• Continue east about a half mile on Lone Pine and the school should be there.

Warning: the map below is not even close to scale. And as the map above shows, Lone Pine Rd is not even close to straight between Middlebelt and Telegraph, especially where it crosses Inkster. However, it should do for us coming in from the west.
