Nebraska Elks To Celebrate Elks Youth Week 2005

Nebraska Governor Dave Heineman has proclaimed the week of May 1-7th as "Nebraska Elks Youth Week." The proclamation was done to recognize the work of the Elks with youth, and the accomplishments of youth in all areas of activities and studies. The Elks have always recognized excellence in the classroom as well as extracurricular activities.
Elks Lodges throughout Nebraska will mark this week with a variety of special activities designed to recognize the youth that participate in Elks Youth programs. For a list of the activities planned in your area, contact the Elks Lodge nearest you.
