Nebraska Elk Leaders to Meet
The Nebraska Elks Advisory Committee and Trustees will be meeting on Saturday,
January 8th, 2005, at the Hastings Elks Lodge. The Advisory Committee will
meet at 11 a.m. and the Trustees will meet at 2 p.m.
In addition, District Deputy Grand Exalted Ruler John C. Folcik of Hastings,
will hold his DD Mid-Winter Central Nebraska District Clinic on Sunday, January
9th, for Exalted Rulers, Leading Knights, Secretaries, and Trustee Chairs.
Folcik will review the GER's Program of Work and will then hear reports from the
Central District Lodges. Notable reports will be from the Superior Elks
who will report on their work with the Victorian Festival; the Hastings
Elks and their work in Operation Hope with the Hastings National Guard; and the
York Elks will report on their annual ENF Breakfast. Other Central
District Lodges will report on their outstanding community service projects.
In addition, the Nebraska Elks Association Committees on Membership, Public
Relations, Drug Awareness and Lodge Activities will conduct short informational
sessions.
