Kramer Installed as President of the Nebraska Elks

The 93th Annual Nebraska Elks Association Convention closed late Sunday morning at the Sandhills Convention Center with the installation of Terry R. Kramer as president.

Terry, an Ogallala Elks Lodge member, was installed by fellow Lodge member and Grand Exalted Ruler, James M. McQuillan. The national president returned early from an official visit to another state so that he could personally install his fellow Elks Lodge member, Terry R. Kramer, as president of the Nebraska Elks Association.

It was an exciting moment for the Ogallala Elks and all Nebraska Elks as Terry addressed the need for better communications between the state officers and committee persons and Nebraska's local Lodges. Among Terry's goals for his year as president is to increase membership statewide, continue strong Veterans and Youth Program activities, and to ask the Lodges and state committees to practice better public relations.

Terry's wife Leanna, their four grown children and their spouses, three grandchildren and many family friends attended the installation ceremony.

Terry has been a physical education teacher for the last 24 years in the Ogallala Public Schools and is currently the head Girls Track Team coach.
