Winners Announced at Norfolk Elks Hoop Shoot Finals

Championship foul shooters from 28 Northeast Nebraska schools competed Saturday afternoon, January 8th, at the Northeast Community College Cox Activities Center for the opportunity to advance to the District 1 finals. The District 1 Elks Hoop Shoot Finals will be held Saturday, January 22, at the York High School gym.

The top three winners in each age and gender category are listed below with their school name and hometown. Also listed is their score:

8-9 yr old boys

The above winners and their families were honored at a post-competition reception held at the Norfolk Elks Lodge where they received medals for their efforts. First place winners received instructions for the District competition which will be held January 22nd in York. Two thousand seven hundred seventy-two (2,772) shooters began the competition in their home schools prior to this competition in Norfolk.
