Nebraska Governor Johanns has proclaimed the week of May 2-8th as "Nebraska
Elks Youth Week." The proclamation was done to recognize the work of
the Elks with youth and the accomplishments of youth in all areas of activities
and studies. The Elks recognize excellence in the classroom as well as in
extracurricular activities.
Elk Lodges throughout Nebraska will mark this week with a variety of special
activities designed to recognize the youth that participate in Elk Youth
programs. For a list of the activities planned for your area contact
the Elks Lodge nearest to you.
