This
is one of the gt40p heads as it was shipped to me. These came off an explorer
with 30k miles.
The
GTP serves as proof that these are actual P heads. The non P gt40s only say
GT here.

The
4 bars on the ends of the heads are another identifying mark of the P heads.
Non P gt40s only have 3 bars.
This
is one of the heads (minus rockers) ready to go to the machine shop to be hot
tanked and magnafluxed. I'm going to have a 3 angle valve job done and then
have them reassembled with new springs and retainers.
This
is the cam that is going in the engine. It is a Ford E cam with a duration of
220 and a lift of .498.
