In the early 1970's, a fire broke out at a small drive in theater. The fire consumed the entire theater...the screen, the snack bar, the projectionist booth and the box office were all destroyed and the poor employees were lost with the drive in. On dark nights when the moon waxes full, folk say that they can still here hear the sounds of movies playing from long silenced speakers and the flickering of the vanished screen down the overgrown deserted road where the theater used to be.
