Barney the Corgihuahua, Age 17 years, 10 months

Born June 13, 1988 in Kingsport, TN, Barney was called to the Rainbow
Bridge on April 13, 2006 by Da Boss, Hisownself. Barney had been working
part time for St. Fwank the past few years and has accepted full time
employment.

He is survived by his beloved widdle wife, “Kissy, I Mean Kwissy” Belle
Perry, his brother Chessy (and Bob the Tail),  his sisters Paris Lynn
Dearling-Williams Noel Canardly, Lily Ruth Fluff, and Noelle Marie
Doodlybug. He was preceded by his father, a white chihuahua, and his mother,
Lady, a fluffy Cardigan. Also waiting at the Rainbow Bridge for him are his
angelic sister Silver and his dear friend Sherlock Sheltie.

Barney’s favorite charity was always CorgiAid.  He spent countless hours
assisting Silver in her sewing factory and helping Paris Lynn’s Heavenly
Designs by Silver Direct from Paris by chewing out hundreds of bandanas with
his little corgihuahua teef.  His sharp little toofies left marks resembling
pinking shears. Barney took pride that he was helping clothe homeless and
sometimes nekkid corgis by contributing his bandanas to be auctioned or sold
to benefit CorgiAid.

Barney had been a member of Corgi-L since 1997, and on his 10th birthday,
the corgis on the list went to Messico to find Barney’s father’s family.  He
was a charter member of Corgese-L and a veteran of the Corgese War. In 2000,
Barney was elected President by the corgis and won with 92% of the votes
cast. His vice president, Trav Sniderman survives him. Barney was a member
of the cast of the Flufftopia stories and served several years as chairman
of the Flufftopian Nashnul.

Barney was a graduate of the Kennel Club of Greater Kingsport's obedience
classes. He spent years studying corgi conformation and ways to improve the
breed to look more like him.  Barney’s Beauties, the contest at the Tennysea
Corgi Picnic bears his name.

Barney was an avid collector of stuffed squeakies and red squeaky mice.

In his spare time, Barney was the proprietor of Barney’s Orphanage.  He will
be sadly missed by his forty-eleventy former orphan brothers and sisters.

He leaves behind his humans, Waynedaddy and Susiemom; three human brothers
(Hooman Bwudder Number One, Two and Three); his dear Auntie M. and special
friends, Shandy and the Shelties; his nieces Wednesday Corgi and Scarlet
Chihuahua; cousins, Polly Schnauzer, Lucy and Casey Lhasa; his name sake
Barnianne Hutchman; and his friends, the staff at Kingsport Veterinary
Hospital.
