Paris Lynn Wins Easter Bonnet Contest!
The announcement in the paper said,
"Doggie Easter Treat Seek and Easter Bonnet Contest."

Armed with her cast iron stomach and her good fashion sense, Paris Lynn figured she might stand a chance!
What to wear?  The hat part was pretty easy to figure out.
The paper said bonnets, fancy neckwear, and bunny ears were acceptable.  Sigh!  So much for the Easter dress Paris Lynn had hoped to wear.
Ah ha! There was a small piece left of the embroidered fabric that Mystery wore as the bridesmaid at Paris and Shandy's wedding.
There was just enough to make a fancy neck piece!
Paris Lynn was greeted by the Easter Bunny Himself!
He seemed to like her outfit.
Paris Lynn rested in the shade between events.  First there was the treat seek.  Then there was the cake walk.  Paris had prizes from both.
At last it was time for the Best Easter Bonnet contest.
After parading in front of the judges, the dogs stretched out in the grass to hear the judges' decision.
"Best Easter Bonnet goes to the little corgi in the puple hat," the lady announced.
Paris Lynn thanked her family, her friends, The Boss Hissef upstairs, and then looked at the judges and said, "World pees...or is it whirled peas.  I forget, but thank you!"
What wonderful prizes! Paris Lynn won a $20 gift certificate to a doggy boutique, a frisbee, a tennis ball, and some cookies.
"What's in the gift bag?" Paris Lynn asked innocently.
Flea shampoo!
"Ewww.  I don't have cooties!
Howsomeber, I will donate it to our Tennysea Corgi Picnic Auction to help CorgiAid."
