Borden Park
Kingsport, TN
Pedigree has announced that CorgiAid is the winner of their
Pedigree Award for Best
Breed Rescue Fund Raising!

Our CorgiAid President Vicki Neff and CorgiAid Treasurer Joyce Trittipo were in New York the weekend of the Westminster Show to accept the award at a banquet.
Pedigree was impressed with the wide variety and number of people involved in CorgiAid fundraising.  They wanted a film of CorgiAid in action!  Since picnics are one of CorgiAid's main fundraisers, we volunteered to have a picnic here in TN in January...a Polar Bear Picnic to Benefit CorgiAid for filming purposes.
A film producer flew in from California to make footage of our picnic.  It was shown at the dinner in NY along with other winners and honorees. Pedigree has been showing a loop of film in their booth as they visit
dog shows this year, and have had films of the various
honorees on their website.

Scenes from our picnic were shown during the broadcast of the Westminster Dog Show.

There was also a story about the Polar Bear Picnic in the AKC Gazette.
An online version of our silent auction was held prior to the picnic.
Thanks to our CorgiAid Angels for raising lots of money to help homeless corgis through the Polar Bear projects!
