Summer at Fort Corgi
Paris Lynn stops to catch her breath in the grass.
It's been a busy summer at Fort Corgi, and the little Hostess with the Mostes' has been busy entertaining guests, both hooman and furry.
Shortly after the TN Corgi Picnic, our orphan Tanner arrived to rest up from his heartworm treatment.  He kept us entertained with all the tricks he knew and was such a gentlemanly corgi!
We all celebrated when he found a home of his own in July.
Paris Lynn had barely had time to wash up all the fleecies when a baybee orphan arrived.  Chadwick is only 4 months old and appears to have both corgi and sheltie ancestors.  He is soft and has spots like Noelle Marie, but she says she had nothing to do with this!
Chadwick taught Maddie and Mysti to play Chase the Puppy.  But they get tired before he does.
Chadwick is smart for his age.  He can go in and out with our doggy door.  He knows to sit for a cookie, and he knows come and is working on down.  He's doing real well on his housetraining, too!

The staff of Barney's Orphanage and Paris Lynn's Charm Skool had a busy summer, too.  Where are Noelle Marie and Maddie going all dressed up?
It's the Fun Fest Crazy Mile K8's Dog Walk, except Maddie and Noelle are orthopedically challenged and can't walk a mile.  That didn't stop the doodly girls though!
Maddie and Noelle rode in the comfort of their new stroller, complete with fans and a water dish in there. They were the coolest dogs in the race!
Mysti hitched a ride in it to the Fun Fest Pet Dog Show where she competed in Prettiest Female and the costume contest.
Mys and Susiemom won second place in the costume contest.  Mysti was Fun Festus, the little sun man mascot of Fun Fest.  Susiemom was a hot air balloon.  Hee hee.
The rest of our summer at Fort Corgi has been filled with walkies in the morning and rides in the evening.
