Once by the sea
A bee and a flea
Who lived in a tree
Were very sad you see
A Big Company
Wanted to cut down the tree
To build a Big Factory
This made the flea
And the bee
(Not to mention the tree)
Very mad for the bee
And the flea
Needed the tree
For a place to be
To see the sea
So one day the tree
Said to the bee
And the flea
"What we need you see
Is a plan to keep me
And thee
Here by the sea
So we can be
In company."
So they thought silently
For what seemed to be
An eternity
Then suddenly
They all shouted with glee
"A decree!
A decree!"
Simultaneously
So they wrote the decree
And the flea
And the bee
Went immediately
To the Big Company
But the flea
And the bee
Were so hard to see
That the secretary
Of the big company
Did not see them you see
So they left the decree
And hoped she would see
It to give to the presidency
Of the Big Company
Which she did, but unfortunately
The presidency
Of the Big Company
Was not kind you see
"It's only a tree!"
Said the presidency
"But wait, but wait!" announced Mr Lee
"This tree
Is the home of a flea
And a bee!
We can't cut the tree
They'll have no place to see
The sea or to be
In each other's company!"
So the presidency
Of the Big Company
Did not cut down the tree
And the bee
And the flea
(Not to mention the tree)
Lived happily
Ever after.
