IMPORTANT UPDATE
May 28th, 2007
As of the end of the
2007 school year, Grand Island Physical Therapy and Sports
Clinic has made the business decision to go a different
direction and chose not to renew the contract with Stefani
Gilson, ATC. Because of this decision, after seven years at GI
Northwest, Stef will not be returning. Although we know many
students, athletes, parents and alumni will be upset, we respect
GI Physical Therapy and the choice they have made. We will all
miss Stef and all that she has done for this program in her
seven years of service. We wish her the best of luck in the future and
we will
all miss her greatly.
Also, as a result of
this decision, Stefani's cell phone number will no longer be
active. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact:
Grand Island Physical Therapy & Sports Clinic at (308) 382-0344.
As for the Program's
Website, it will now currently serve as a informational tool for
those interested in the GINW Student Athletic Training Program
and will no longer be receiving active updates. And pending the
Webmaster's desire to run and host the site and the new Athletic Trainer's
need for the site, will it be taken
down or left as the informational tool it is now.
We again are deeply
saddened by the decision and we hope that all of the changes
currently pending within the Athletic Department are for the
best and as always we will still be there to support all the
athletic teams. Stefani and the Student Athletic Training
Department thank everyone for their support through all the
years and we want to wish everyone the best of luck.
