Cugan's a Goth?
Well, yes. I'll grant you that I'm not partial to make-up, I have no real desire to go about dressing like Frank 'N' Furter, nor do I find Marylin Manson's lyrics particularly inspiring. However, for me being a Goth isn't subscribing to other people's interpretation of what I should or should not be. For me:
> It's about seeing the world the way it is.
> It's about seeing myself the way I am. ( Being saved doesn't mean being perfect. )
> It's about knowing that while the best is possible, the worst is more likely.
> It's about knowing too many people who worship their own honor as if it were a god.
> It's about appreciating the darker side of art, music, and life; rather than having to look on the bright side all the time.
Besides - I'm told black is slimming.
