What is Healing Touch

Healing Touch is a relaxing, nurturing therapy. Gentle touch assists in balancing your physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Healing Touch works with your bio-field to support your natural ability to heal. It is safe for all ages and works in harmony with standard medical care. Healing Touch is defined as a type of biofield therapy by the National Center for Complimentary and Alternative Medicine at the National Institute of Health (NIH). Performed with or without touch, the techniques support the healing process by creating a physiological reaction which influences the body's energy centers. What Happens in a Session?
The first session involves a consultation as well as a therapy session. You will be asked questions to assist the provider in tailoring the session to your needs. Then you will lie fully clothed on a massage table while the provider gently places their hands slightly above or on you. Sessions generally last 40 to 60 minutes. People frequently report feeling deeply relaxed and peaceful during and after the session. There is a cumulative effect of using Healing Touch over time and regular sessions are recommended.
