INTRODUCTION
| This section of the website is devoted to discovering
exactly how many LVTs hit mines off Green Beach, and the identity of each person
who died, or was wounded, when each event occurred. Over the years, I have amassed a great deal of information on this subject, some of which is contradictory to a certain published account. Sometimes, the bits and pieces of information that I receive also seem to contradict each other. All that I can say about this, is that I have no wish offend anyone, and that in my search for the truth I always try to respect the feelings of others. It is not my intention to change anyone else's beliefs, but only to seek the truth for myself. This section will be organized as a series of chapters. In this way I hope to add chapters in a logical manner, expanding on what has come before. I will be adding new chapters as time permits, or as new information demands. I will always try to make a distinction between what I know, what I think I know, and what is only theory on my part. I am always grateful to receive information about any of these events, whether it be from personal knowledge, or something heard from others.
