There can be no misunderstanding of the AH-1W SuperCobra’s purpose. It is a flying brass knuckles that is used to smash the enemy from just over the heads of the Marines on the ground. As a fundamental element of the combined-arms doctrine of the USMC, the SuperCobra is a two-man flying mayhem machine. It is capable of unleashing pinpoint- accurate TOW and Hellfire guided missiles or obliterating a large area with FFAR rockets. Sometimes it just snipes with its 20mm cannon. Another deadly capability is using its laser spotter to guide a hail of destruction from fast-movers way up in the clouds. Some of the Supercobra airframes are older than the young Marines who fly and maintain them. But together, the young Marines and the old Cobras are always ready to perform their mission. This decal set includes profiles for three aircraft and markings for two models. One aircraft has sexy noseart!
