O.T.I.S. Year 5: Ike's On Fire!
		Well folks, it was a new year, new site, and new fun. Year 5 of ...On The Info Superhighway brought about a lot of changes. First, we spent almost the entire contest logged on to the Net. The scary part was the crash...local internet service needs some serious help at times...so...we had our up times, our "down" times, and lots of good food...thanks in part to our amateur caterer. If the point total isn't obvious, we dropped a few places and 140 points, but each year is different, and hey, we had a new host site, and quite a different cast of characters...anyway, we had lots of fun, and that is what really matters anyway. The suprising part, that was rather unexpected was how the Trivia Stone was run, and that threw us for a small loop. We held our own fortunately, and perservered, regardless. Trivia 30 is just around the corner, so mark your calendars for April 16, 17 & 18, 1999, and join us for some more fun, and really good food... Thanks to Sue, of course. Also, I must thank our new host for the use of their house, and their patience (I think it got tried a little)...Thank you to Tom and Carol McCarrier for the generous use of their home, phone lines, and anything else that may have been consumed, used, or just used up in the course of the weekend. O.T.I.S. Year 5... finished in 89th Place with 3855 points.
