Fees & Uniforms

ANNUAL FEES:

There is an initial registration fee for new members of $10, as well as a $12 fee for a 1-year subscription to Boy's Life magazine. Our charter year runs March – February, so this initial fee will likely be a prorated amount as most boys place membership in August.

All boys pay annual dues to help cover the cost of supplies, activities, awards, registration renewal, etc. P er-boy annual dues for 2007-2008 are $35. Since our program costs are much higher than $35 per boy, and we do not want to burden our parents with this expense, we will participate in 1-2 Pack fundraisers each year to fund our program. We ask that all members participate in these fundraisers.

In addition to the fees outlined above, we ask that each scout purchase a uniform and handbook.

UNIFORM INFORMATION:

Scouts and leaders should wear uniforms to all meetings and activities unless directed otherwise. Class B t-shirts may be appropriate for certain types of activities as designated by leaders.

Uniforms may be purchased from the Scout Shop. Pack 12 does not require that you purchase official scout pants or socks. We inspect uniforms from the belt up. Leader uniform expenses are tax deductible.

Financial assistance and/or gently used uniforms may be available for those in need. Inquiries should be directed to the Cubmaster or Assistant Cubmaster.
