The Are you Smarter than a 5th grader contest will be returning again to the 2009 Florence County Fair.  Past winners include Dan Chiamulera in 2008 and Jack Kriegl in 2007.

The Exhibitor Fairbook for the 106th Annual Florence County Fair is available online. 

It will be published in a hard copy form with the Mining News July 22.

Fair Schedule Updates!

- The Bassmeister will have performances all three days of the fair.  He has  comedy/magic/fishing show.

- The music schedule is planned out including:  Two Thirds Full, Bad Axe Rodeo, Country Classics, the Millie Street Blues Band, Next Myle and a Karaoke Contest.

- The Friday Night Horse Pull is lined up

- The Second Annual Classic Car Show is planned for Sunday Check the special contest page for more information.

- Abracadabra Inflatable Rides will return this year.  A new addition will be the Blue Ribbon Carnival Games.

- We are bringing back some favorite contests including the Little King and Queen Contest and the Cricket Spitting Contest.

- We are starting new contests including  Florence County Jeopardy, Name That Tune and a RockBand Team Competition.

- 2009 Wisconsin Fairest of the Fairs Melissa Plockelman will be at the fair on Sunday to help award the car show trophies.
