About
Fishnoodles
Fishnoodles
makes your decision to use cloth a choice you'll love. We cloth diaper for some pretty serious reasons - saving
money, limiting the waste we put in landfills, giving our babies the
most comfortable start in life. These things are important - and we need
to enjoy doing them! Fishnoodles cloth diapers have the
quality, fit, and colors to bring cheer to your diapering
routine.
Fishnoodle Industries LLC
started in 2006 under the brand name Painted Patootie. These were
hand-decorated pocket diapers and covers that soon became too
labor-intensive to continue. We took those original great fitting diaper
patterns and made them available as covers and AIOs under our Fishnoodles
label. We are the developers of the Snapper and Wrapper diaper covers, the Solo Flyer all-in-one,
and the Freesize Fitted. As the company grows, other products that
we hope to bring back into production are the Pocket Jammer pocket
diaper, and the Fishnoodles Fitted two-step fitted diaper.
Fishnoodles sources
fabrics as close to home as possible in the USA and has the diapers sewn
here too. This helps limit the carbon used in production and keeps jobs
based in a country with environmental and human rights standards.
Dawn Bucholtz
is the mom-in-chief behind Fishnoodles. She
and her husband have three little patooties, all of whom were
cloth diapered. She has been
a public health researcher and a La Leche League Leader. Promoting
health, working toward environmental sustainability and creating
beautiful yet practical garments are the guiding mission for Fishnoodles.
