Biography
Description Pale skinned and lanky, Davkas has scars that reveal torture. He wears his blond hair long and tied back in a warriors knot. Blue eyes and a serene smile mark his face.
Bio ~Davkas is a recent convert to the faith of Ilmater. Like his god he has been broken. The young man was a courier until fate would have him deliver the wrong bad news to the wrong bad man.

~Davkas tried to explain that he was only a hired messenger and had no connection to the sender of the parchment. But the Lordling would not listen and instead put him in the hands of Slyme, his pit master and torturer.

~Of course it wasn't totally true that Davkas wasn't involved and he was revealed to be at least an admirer of the senders young daughter. This alone was perhaps the reason he was given that particular message to deliver. He realized his fate was planned too late to do anything about it.

~Starved, beaten, burned and caged in a cell not large enough to lay down or stand fully he became the victim of horrendous rituals and pleasures at the hands of Slyme. While he was never the strongest boy he was healthily able of arm until his unjust imprisonment in the dank and dark dungeon of the vile addressee. He was not alone, for it seems that the Lordling was a priest of Cyric and took pleasure in watching his half-orc acolyte Slyme administer the torture and sacrifices of many.

~Davkas endured on hope alone and would pray to all the gods he could remember for mercy. Perhaps it was coincedence, fate or maybe Ilmater was actually listening. Monks of the Yellow Rose somehow learned of the location of the hidden temple and liberated Davkas and the others. Slyme and the Lordling were taken away and the temple was destroyed. Davkas and the others that were near to death were taken to a Temple of Ilmater for healing.

~Davkas has given himself to Ilmater and he is blessed with divine power in return. He shares a fate with his god and has demonstrated a strength of wisdom that is the result of his imprisonment and torture. Davkas has exceeded the Priests expectation in both devotion and skill. He quickly learned to ease the pain of others through healing and counsel.

~It became obvious that Davkas would be an excellent candidate for a mission. It was considered that it would help him as much as the needy if he were to leave the temple and be his own man for awhile. The priests passed a hat and were able to raise a substantial amount of gold to offer Davkas for his journey. He would be sent to Baldur's Gate where he would pitch his tent and help any and all that needed aid.

~Davkas will never be physically healthy or strong as he once was. Ilmater has chosen him to be an example of the results of injustice and suffering. He represents a greater good that works to aid the commonfolk and ease suffering for all in Faerun. 

He arrives in Baldurs gate leading his donkey; Early Spring.
