"Experience the Ride of Your Life...
The American Paso Fino"
A breed whose ancestry goes back to the spectacular Andalusian, the athletic Barb, and the now extinct gaited Spanish Jennet, this horse was originally bred to be the foundation stock for remount stations of the Conquistadors. Paso Finos are extremely "people-oriented" horses. They are athletic, naturally quick and sure-footed. They are born with a gait unique to the breed - one that is totally natural - a four-beat lateral gait that offers the rider an unparalled level of comfort in the saddle. Can they walk, trot and canter? Sure they can! Most owners prefer to ride at the horses natural special gaits, however. Why? It's like riding a turbo-charged cloud! It is a feeling that must be experienced to believe, once people ride a Paso Fino, they seldom forget it, and usually start looking for one of their own! I sure did!
