We have a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, first floor, waterfront condominium unit in the Hanson's Landing development in Stuart, FL. It overlooks a small lake with fountain and faces the northwest for warm afternoon sun and gorgeous sunsets.

Stuart is on the Treasure Coast in Martin County in Southeast Florida. It is the northern reach or Southern Florida and it is warm all winter. You can swim in the ocean almost every day in the winter. Look at the current weather.

Below is a meandering description along with some nice pictures we hope will convince you to spend your winter down in sunny Florida.

Here is an outside view of the front of the unit with another shot of the new screened porch. It faces directly on the association lake and to the west for great sunsets! Note that the lanai (porch) is screened in now with a new screen and will be completely furnished by 15-Nov-05. Click on the picture to see a larger view.

As can be seen, the grounds are beautiful and well maintained. There is a huge swimming pool for all to enjoy that is about a 60 second walk from the unit.

The pool is actually directly adjacent to the building this unit is in. There are BBQs near the pool for tenant's use.

It is a 2 minute walk to the Intercoastal Waterway (ICW) and a small observation park with benches and a table. Across the ICW and available to anyone with a small boat or kayak is the St. Lucie Inlet State Park.

Hanson's Landing is minutes to the beaches of Hutchinson Island and Hobe Sound. Yet it also borders an undeveloped area of woods and bushes perfectly suited to bird watching.

This is a Google Map of the same area. We are under the "St" in St. Lucie Inlet State Park. You will be minutes away from the beaches, golf, and water activities.

While the Stuart area and Martin County as a whole are enjoying phenomenal growth, there is still a charm to many sections of the area that cannot be found as you go south towards the Condo Canyons of Palm beach to Miami. And if you go north you soon leave "Southern Florida" and swimable water in the winter. There is still some "old Florida" to be found in this area, including citrus groves to the west.

Water-wise, the St Lucie River, the Indian river (Inter Coastal Waterway), a mostly navigable ocean inlet, and the Okeechobee canal all meet together less than a mile away from the Condo. Yes, it's a great boating place and is an ideal destination to which to trailer your small boat. There are many area wet and dry marinas, some only minutes away from he unit. In fact boating as well as all recreational activities abound!

Here are some more pictures of the unit. When they were taken it was unfurnished, but when you are ready to move in for the winter season, it will have almost all new furnishings, appliances, stereo, tv, etc.
