January 7, 2008 Minutes
At the Chippewa Youth Hockey Ice Rink

Attending: Jackie Varvra, Pam Kelly, Laura Larson, Nancy Kurkowski, Patty Darley and Coach Parker.

1. Coach’s update. Bills were discussed. Nancy Kurkowski will contact C.V. Sporting goods about bill. Coach Krista and Pat will pay ½ of their jacket fee, making it 35.00, coach will follow-up. Money for wild game has been collected, $24 from each player. Coach has contacted the media about the spaghetti feed.

2. Coach made mention and gotten compliments how well behaved the players were at the overnights.

3. Raffle items are coming in. Need to get double tickets for raffle, get at Sams or office supplies store, Nancy K. will get. Laura Larson will give a reminder phone call to all families to bring bars and get their spaghetti tickets in to Pam Kelly. Coach Parker will be calling about donation Kell Container made last year towards the fed. T-BO Photography is currently working on a poster of the teams 5X7 photos, Pam Kelly will pick up. Noodle cooking at Four Corners at 1:00p.m. Sunday Jan. 13 for the feed on Monday.

4. Faculty appreciation night will be Jan. 15th. Coach will remind the players.

5. Sat. Feb. 9th is the parent’s night for the seniors. To include players and cheerleaders. Pam Kelly will get # of roses needed and purchase at Vicky’s. Coach Parker to ask players to write a thank you note to parents and hand it to them on the ice.

6. Hockey banquet set for March 12th. 5:30-8:30, with meal at 6:00p.m. Jane’s Catering will provide the food again this year, with the same menu. Coach will take care of getting 6-Senior plaques 5 players and manager. May have to charge the players this year to unexpected expenses.

7. Pam Kelly will contact Kurt about van for the Wild game on 2/5/08. Cost or donate.

8. Next meeting will be Feb. 4th at 6:00p.m.
