Chi Hi Hockey Blueline Meeting
October 29, 2007 Minutes
At the Chippewa Youth Hockey Ice Rink

Attending: Coach Parker, Coach Krista, Patti Darley, Bill Schulz, Pam Kelly, Nancy Kurkowski, Jackie Vavra, and Sandi Hysell

1. Introductions were made for new/existing members.

2. Nancy will be person to submit information to Theresa Sullivan for inclusion in the website/webpage. The schedules for concession and penalty box will be put out there when the teams are formed.

3. Concession will be coordinated by Pam Kelly and Dotty Schulz will be asked to help out.

4. Booster club representative will be Jackie Vavra.

5. Patti will coordinate the sweat and wind suit orders. It was discussed that there would a choice of 5 items to purchase. She will check on prices for adding the ChiHi logo to the tie sweatshirt. Order forms will be available at the Hockey pot luck on November 15th.

6. Spaghetti Feed Chair: Nancy will check the sign up sheets and get in touch with that person. Coach Parker has been in contact with the new owners of Four Corners and will get the night and details firmed up with them.

7. Banquet Committee: Potluck is scheduled for November 15th at the High School Commons area. Flyers with specific information will be distributed to the players and an e-mail will be sent out to all addresses received so far. Blue Line committee will help set up at 5:30pm.

8. Agnes Table Service Project-Varsity Boys will work Nov 13th. Only have room for 15 kids so it was decided on varsity boys only. Nancy Kurkowski will help organize-we need adult helpers. An e-mail will be sent out seeking adult volunteers. Players will need to donate $5 each and a pan of bars. The Captains and Katlin will be responsible for collecting the money. Practice is planned before school on that date.

9. Equipment needs: Some concussion helmets were purchased and will be distributed on a seniors first basis. All equipment will be centrally located in the new rink in a locked room. This should happen shortly. Video Camera/etc.: Coach Parker stated that the school is getting a little more concerned about damage to the equipment. It is also VHS. Patti said that there was money set aside to purchase one. Coach will look into what features and where to purchase one from. He will also contact Mr. Hubbard for a suitable editor feature.

10. NO sandwiches this year-Buses to take both the JV and the Varsity teams to get food before (Varsity)/after (JV) the game for away games-Drinks for the boys such as Gatorade will be available on the bus. The Coaches will be responsible for letting the players know if there will be a food stop on the way home from an away game or to bring their own food or eat at the concession stand.

11. Holiday Tournament Hotel-Sandi Hysell will get hotel info to team on November 15th. Deb Loiselle and Deb Bruhn will be asked to organize potluck for hotels.

12. Fundraisers- Spaghetti Feed and Northern Wisconsin State Fair

13. Parents Night/Senior Night Feb. This will be February 9, 2008. The sign up list will be checked to see who is responsible for this. It should include Cheerleaders, players (both JV & Varsity) and Katlin.

14. Other topics: Each player needs to sell 5 books of raffle tickets for the Hockey rink. This money goes directly to the new rink improvements.

15. Date of next meeting: December 4th at 6:00pm.
