Chaperone's Table

updated 10/10/11

Chaperones are needed for the 2011-2012 season!

We strive to have 1 chaperone per 15 students. With 175 students in the program, we need about 14 chaperones.

This year up to 15 5th grade students can partipate in the program if 3 parent/guardians will join as a chaperone. Please contact me if you are interested.

Being a chaperone is a great way to get in some free skiing, socializing, or just a night out. You don’t need to ski or have a child in the program to be a chaperone.

As a chaperone, you will enjoy the benefits of free skiing and bus transportation during the ski program. The chaperones meet the buses at Nissitissitt Middle School around 2:00pm, help the students stow their equipment, take attendance, and distribute ski passes.

Once at the mountain, some chaperones are present in the “Granite Room” of the lodge to assist students. If a chaperone is not scheduled to be at the Chaperone’s Table, they are free to ski. At the end of the night, the chaperones make sure everyone is out of the lodge then take attendance and collect ski passes as the students board the bus home.

If you would like to be a chaperone, please contact:
