This unusual pattern is called "Square Dance". It is an easy way to
get pinwheels out of squares. There is more cutting involved but
you don't have to sew and triangles. These two quilts were given
to Tabitha and Samantha who are sisters.
This was made from preprinted pillow panels. I chose this pattern
and made it in a lap size since if was for my mother who lives in
Arizona and the need for quilts is not that great. I also made her a
set of matching pillows.
This quilt was actually the first one made. It is from the book
"Stripe Quilts in a Hurry" and is called "The Rose Garden". My
sister Joan and her husband Jim received this. She must have been
pleased with the work because she has asked me to make her
another one.
I hope to continue to add to this gallery. I have since made 2
kingsize quilts, 1 memory quilt, and have 4 childrens quilt
almost completed. They will be added to the gallery as time
permits me to work on the site.
