Charles Matthew Gallienne was responsible
for much of the steel construction early in the century in
Atlanta and throughout the state
of Georgia as well as Alabama and other states. Unfortunately some
of his more noteworthy work has
long since met the wreaking ball such as the famous Lowes Grand
Theater in which 'Gone with the
Wind' premiered as well as the Peachtree Arcade. What follows is
some surviving scanned documents
