At this time our online ticket sales have been
suspended due to technical difficulties. We apologize for the
inconvenience. Advance tickets can be purchased at Toy town in
downtown Cadillac, or by calling 231-775-2813. Also, we have
changed our ticket price structure. Student prices are now for
kids age 13-20. Children 12 and under are FREE. We hope this will
encourage you to come out to a Gopherwood show, and also help
introdude your children to a wide variety of great music.
In the fall of 2001Gopherwood moved into
a new venue at the Elks Club at 122 S. Mitchell St. in downtown
Cadillac. Click here to see our
new home and a map to its location. Our first season at the
Elks was a great success. Artist's and patron's alike
loved the new room. We added new lights to illuminate the
stage and even built our own dance floor. Our biggest
addition, however, came with the help of Carol Potter of the
Cadillac Area Visitor Bureau. Carol wrote a grant to
the Cadillac Area Community Foundation to pay for a new 16'x20'
professional stage as well as a new back drop. Both of
these items are portable. The artists that were
able to use the stage were very impressed. The stage allows
great views of groups from every seat in the house.
Gopherwood sincerely thanks both Carol and the CACF for their
support of the arts in Cadillac.
Welcome to Gopherwood Concerts' corner of
cyberspace. We are a small non-profit group located in Cadillac,
Michigan, whose main goal is to bring quality musical
entertainment for everyone in northwest lower Michigan. We hope
you enjoy your travels here as much as we enjoyed bringing them
to you. Please look around as much as you like. You will notice
the menu bar to the left. All our pages can be accessed
there. This years concert series promises to be fantastic.
