- Electronic Submission: Submission made via email.
- Galleys: Initial typeset form of a manuscript sent to author for review.
- Public Domain: Any material that can be freely used by the public.
- Rights: Ownership the ways in which a creative work may be reproduced, used, or applied.
- Serial: A publication that appears periodically.
- Simultaneous Submission: Manuscript sent to more than one market at the
same time. Also referred to as Sim Subs.
- Tearsheet: Sample of published work.
