"Friday at noon the parking lot, / fast deserted especially near the back, / cars
pour out into ant lines of traffic, / green, yellow, red the colors of freedom."

Suicide Pumpkins
The suicide plans of a would-be actress in Hollywood fall apart when she
meets her Prince Charming who comes to her rescue complete with a white
Porsche and a pumpkin. In this black humor version of a Cinderella story
watch as two misfits fall in love amid the turmoil and glamour of Los
Angeles and San Diego. Meet Jessica Tyler, a College Theater graduate
who has moved to Hollywood to become an actress and who is miserably
failing at it. She makes ends meet by sort of working as a cashier at
Ralph's grocery store and lives on a park bench in the Park above the
Santa Monica Pier staying in touch with the real world via a Best
Western, Vodka, her answering service, a PO Box and a black cherry
red vintage Mustang convertible. When she finally gets a break by
landing on contestants row on "The Price Is Right" and by getting her
first real acting job in a B movie called "Sand Castles," will she
take the next step to becoming a real actress or will her suicide
plans get in the way? Meet Jeremy Chance, a millionaire from San
Diego who has inherited the family business - a holding company, who
literally stumbles into Jessica's path on the Coronado Bay Bridge
and allows himself to willingly be led into her dungeon of liquor,
sex, park benches and suicide. In rescuing her, he teaches her a
lesson about pumpkins and bridges she will never forget. Together,
they learn to accept the real world bouncing from Jeremy's mansion
of white to sleeping on the beach, in the park and in a seedy motel.
Enjoy their wild ride on the Pacific Coast Highway all the way to its
final conclusion in Malibu and their foray into junk food heaven at
fast food restaurants, Denny's and 7-11 as they get to know each other
and themselves. Watch in dismay as they seal their union and fate in
one desperate violent act that will possibly keep each of them off
bridges forever.
