I have travelled all of the old Route (okay not every piece of asphalt) with my family from Illinois to California. My favorite spots include Amboy and Needles in California, Oatman in Arizona, Catoosa and Miami in Oklahoma (I love the Will Rogers Memorial Museum) and of course St. Louis (my absolute favorite spot of all). And so I wrote about it ... a bit of dark comedy fiction weaving in and on and around Route 66!
