| HISTORY: Dr Shefli hails from Cleveland, Ohio. She founded the company
A-Tech with Professor Peterson. She and Peterson created a MI they dubbed Altier. Shortly thereafter she and peterson had a dispute over
the uses for their new lifeform, Altier. Peterson left and soon went to work for the US
Air Force. In 1992, after some serious financial setbacks, A-Tech was bought by NASA. Dr.
Shefli, not wanting her creations to be used for governmental purposes, fled and began a
campaign against them. This brought her into conflict with the Cleveland LEGION, and she was soon brought into
custody. She was cleared of charges, and consequently set about rebuilding her reputation.
She was hired by S.T.A.R Labs in Cleveland, and eventually transferred down to the Atlanta
branch. She now is the director of the Atlanta offices for S.T.A.R. labs.
