Firelance
1> Body Armor: His armor is one of alien construction, that protects against up to In40 damage. It is extremely lightweight, unlike his old armor which was very bulky, to say the least.
2> Fire - Ranged Attack: He can shoot fire of Rm30 intensity through his hands. It is unknown where the fuel for this fire is stored, but he does have to refuel after an undisclosed period of time.
3> Resistance to Fire and Heat: His battlesuit protects him from up to In40 fire and heat.
4> Prehensile Tail: His suit has a prehensile tail, able to act on it's own. He has not yet demonstrated in what ways he can use the tail.
5> Recovery: His stamina is such that he can easily recover faster than others. This is a result of his martial arts training, not a result of his suit.

It came about that he and Phera were trapped in an alien dimension. He was stripped of his armor and clothes, as was Phera. Time passed differently in the dimension, and it was several years before they Firelance was freed. Phera was brainwashed and was thought to be a goddess by the Ghaaraks. While Firelance was imprisoned, he eventually was joined in his cell by Lone Wolf and Psyko. Dr. Fate effected the escape of Firelance and Phera, and even rebuilt Firelance's armor. He opened the portal and sent everyone, including Lone Wolf and Psyko, through it back to this dimension. Unfortunately, due to an unforeseen circumstance, the Ghaaraks also passed through the portal. The LEGION quickly discovered that the Ghaaraks were susceptible to extreme cold weather. Magnum, in an error of judgment, brought a glacier to the area from the northern Atlantic ocean, and proceeded to break it over the area, thereby causing a snowstorm. The Ghaaraks and all those on the ground found themselves under the massive snowstorm. There was now a blizzard in the metroparks in the middle of July. The aliens were all either killed or fled back through the portal, with Lance himself killing the chieftain of the aliens. Phera died in that battle as she was buried under the initial avalanche of snow. After the battle it was revealed that either Lone Wolf or Psyko was a child of Phera, but Dr. Fate was not sure which one. Psyko left to find it's place in this world, and Lone Wolf remained, being loyal to Firelance.
Firelance, after that became more and more of a vigilante, pretty much killing at will. He was expelled from the group and was eventually captured for his various crimes. Apparently he is now part of the Suicide Squad, as he has captured, when the Squad raided the LEGION mansion. Firelance lost his hand when the Squad tried to free him, but he is once again a free man.
