Global Warming - Emissions-

What is your Carbon Imprint?

We here at Puddle Ducks are doing all we can to support our environment.  We grow all our plants in a natural  process with no harmful and wasteful chemicals.  We make all of our own soil, use natural organic fertilizer, use a no till policy and provide a wildlife habitat.

Here at Puddle Ducks we use Carbon Offsetting in a way for the emissions produced with an equivalent carbon dioxide savings.

We offer sequestration to reducing carbon dioxide emissions by taking it out of the atmosphere.  We offer tree planting as our from of sequestration.

We offer a voluntary Carbon Credit tree planting program.  Trees reduce the CO2 by a process know as carbon sequestration - i.e. trees breathe in CO2 and exhale out oxygen.  Our trees are planted on our farm and in our display gardens.  Our trees have further benefits of providing sustainable eco-environments.  They provide habitat for local wild life, encourage biodiversity and beautifying the landscape.

Planting trees is one of the easiest ways to offset your carbon foot print and become carbon neutral.  Trees absorb carbon dioxide to produce oxygen and wood, both of which are very useful for humans and wildlife.

Each tree planted offsets your environmental impact by breathing in about 730 kg CO2 emissions over its lifetime.

Pledge A Tree
