Loose Leaf Herb & Fruit Teas

Puddle Ducks Herb Farm, LLC is your source for natural herb, fruit & spice teas.  All our teas are made without caffeine from naturally grown plants.  We offer nothing but loose leaf teas that can be measured out to your needs.  Most of our tea blends make a lovely sun tea as well!  Our rule of thumb is one teaspoon per cup of pure hot water and one for the teapot, then let steep for 5 to 10 minutes depending upon the herbal strength you desire.  However, our tasty fruit and spice tea blends can make two cups of tea from one teaspoon.

Puddle Ducks Herb Farm, LLC is your source for easy bean soup mix and bean side dish mix.   All of our mixes come with an easy to follow recipes.

Herbal & Spice Seasoning Blends

Our herbal & spice blends come with a free recipe card.  Our seasoning blend  can be added to  meat, chicken, pork etc.  The uses are endless just let your mind wander and add a light delicate new flavor to all your cooking!  Visit the shop for more herbs & spices.

Scented Wax Ornaments

Craftsman in the late 19^th and early 20^th century carved beeswax into Christmas ornaments. Today we have added essential oils to the beeswax to give the ornaments a lovely scent.  They range in size from 4” to 6.5” tall.

Kissing Balls

In 13^th century they were know as an “aromatic ball”.  It was said to be worn or carried to ward off diseases.  These lovely 8” balls can be hung from cupboards, ceiling beans or at varying lengths at windows or simply placed in a bowl.  They also make a beautiful bridesmaid bouquet.  Please specify ribbon color (up to 2 colors).

Herbal Eye Pillow

Handmade herbal eye pillows are filled with our own custom blend of relaxing herbs mixed with flax seed.   They are great for traveling and can be slipped into your suite case to add a relaxing scent.  These pillows can be quickly heated in the microwave for 5 second for soothing warmth or chilled in the refrigerator to sooth tried eyes into sleep.  Fabrics will vary.

Handmade herbal sleep pillows are filled with our own custom blend of relaxing herbs mixed with flax seed.  These pillows can simply be tucked into your pillow case to help you fall asleep.  They are great for traveling and can be slipped into your suite case to add a relaxing scent.  These pillows can be quickly heated in the microwave for 15 second for soothing warmth or chilled in the refrigerator to sooth tried, sore achy muscles to sleep.  Fabrics will vary. Our sleep pillows measure 10” x 10” approx.

Handmade herbal cat pillows are filled with our own custom blend of Catnips & Cat Mint.  These pillows can simply be tucked in were your furry friend likes to catnap.   These pillows can be quickly heated in the microwave for 15 second for soothing warmth. We offer a variety of sturdy cotton cat inspired fabrics.  Our cat pillows measure 9” x 10” approx.

Herbal Dog Flea Repellant Pillow

Handmade herbal dog pillows are filled with our own custom blend of natural herbs to repel fleas.  These pillows can simply be tucked in were your furry friend likes to rest.   These pillows can be quickly heated in the microwave for 15 second for soothing warmth. We offer a variety of sturdy cotton dog inspired fabrics our dog pillows measure 9” x 10” approx.

Herbal Shea Butter Soaps

Our handmade herbal bath soaps contains Shea butter soap base, essential oil or fragrance oil and our own naturally grown herbs and flowers.  They are packaged with a muslin bag to be used while bathing for those containing the herbs and flowers.  That way they do not clog the tub or shower.  We do not perform animal testing on our finished product. Puddle Ducks Herb Farm, LLC soaps gently moisturizes the skin as it cleans. 

Walnut Ink

Our naturally made walnut ink is great for scrap bookers or any one wanting an antiquing solution to paper and fabrics.

Tinctures

Plantain:

Plantain is used to treat chronic bronchitis, coughs, peptic ulcer, and urinary tract and bladder infections. It has also been used to help soothe hemorrhoids. The leaves are used externally to treat wounds, burns, dermatitis, and insect bites. Beneficial for children who wet the bed. It is beneficial for varicose veins and may be used as a diuretic

Suggested Use:

Take 6-12 drops in liquid or under the tongue, 1-3 times/day.  Take one to two drops on the insect bite or sting 1 to 3 times/day.

Ingredients: Plantain Leaf, Distilled Water, 25% Grain Alcohol.

Tangerine Sage: 

Sage is used as a mouthwash and gargle for mouth infections, bleeding gums, sore throats, tonsillitis, and it can prevent an excessive flow of saliva. It can also reduce indigestion. Sage leaves in a small pillow can help promote sleep. Sage can also help dry up milk supply when you want to stop nursing.

Suggested  Use:

Take 6-12 drops in liquid or under the tongue, 1-3 times/day.  Use as a mouth wash and rinse out after gargling.  

Warnings:

Sage is generally regarded as safe when used appropriately; however, it does interfere with the absorption of iron and other minerals when taken internally. Individuals with seizure disorders should not use Sage. Do not take if you are pregnant, or while nursing, unless you are ready to stop breastfeeding

Peppermint:

Peppermint can be for the digestive system as it has an antispasmodic effect on the smooth muscle of the digestive tract. Peppermint herb is an antibacterial, antispasmodic, anti-inflammatory, and carminative. It is useful for colic, flatulence, nausea, spasms, cholera, and diarrhea. It is stimulating to the liver and gallbladder, helping to increase the flow of bile. Peppermint herb may also be used for the treatment of ulcers due to a constituent known as azulene, which is anti-inflammatory in nature. A steam inhalation may be used to help decrease respiratory mucus. Like Rosemary, Peppermint is useful to stimulate concentration. Externally, the oil is used for liniments and massage oils because it is cooling, anesthetic, and increases blood flow to the area it is applied. Peppermint tea may also be used for cooling fevers and for heart palpitations.

Suggested Use:

Use 6-12 drops in juice, water, under the tongue or as desired. May be taken 3 times daily. Shake well. Store in cool dark place. Keep out of reach of children.
