The PCB
I purchased this PCB on eBay, with the description stating that the board only put garbage on the screen. From the picture, I could see that none of the EPROMs had anything covering the little window used to erase the chips. So I figured it was a pretty safe bet that they EPROMs had gone bad. After checking the contents of the EPROMs on my programmer, I found that four of them had gone bad. I reprogrammed some new chips, and voila! the board set worked. I also, of course, covered up all the windows on all of the EPROMs. See also: |
