Who is Elise Schebler Roberts?
Elise Schebler Roberts comes from an educational background. Both her parents are educators and she grew up with a love of history and art. Elise has been quilting for over 15 years and has worked to spread the joy of quilting to others. She is on the roster of Minnesota Folk Artists and a member of the Minnesota Quilter's Guild. She also works to preserve historic quilts as a member of the Minnesota Quilt Project.
After earning two masters degrees and beginning her Doctorate in Educational Leadership, Elise decided to combine her passions and created Quilted Life in June of 2003. Her goal was to provide high quality quilting education and services along with family history services. The results have been fantastic.
Now, while continuing her Doctoral studies at St. Thomas University, Elise spends her afternoons at Quilted Life teaching classes and creating custom quilts for clients. As an artist, Elise quilts by hand, which results in beautiful and unique creations.
