Below, are a few items that I use to determine if I go out and view the stars.
Weather Underground provides the information below, tis my local weather. They have different
icons that you can place on a web page for local weather conditions. By clicking on the
icon you can visit their site and find the weather in your location.

The Moon Phases module that you see below is pretty cool, and self-explanatory, tis a very nice tool, like the Clear Sky Clock below. You can get to their web site by clicking on the word "moon phases" on the module.
The Clear Sky Clock below is a pretty accurate tool for finding out about how your viewing will be for observing. The darker the blue in the box, the better the observing conditions. To find the Clear Sky Clock for the skies in your area simply right click anywhere in the Clear Sky Clock box. This will take you to the Roscommon Clear Sky Clock web page. From this page look to the right of the clock for a green box that says "Other clocks" and click on the word "All". From there it's easy to find the Clear Sky Clock for your observing area, that is if you live on the North American continent.
